Since 2002, I have had various Communication & Education roles, on a number of reform and capacity development projects in Serbia, large and small, financed primarily by UNDP and the European Union.
My first posting (2002-2004) was as PR Advisor & Head of Cabinet to the Minister of Energy & Mining of Serbia. This was capacity substitution, as UNDP was helping the Public Administration create key functions and departments. Before the mandate expired, I drafted the extension application. The donor doubled the amount of the donation for the next phase.

At another assignment for UNDP (2007-2009), as Communication, Education & Knowledge Management Consultant at the Ministry of Finance of Serbia, I trained civil servants. I also handled Knowledge Management & Results-Based Management for our team of 30 consultants. Independent evaluators recommended that the knowledge management system which I devised and maintained become the model for the Serbian Government’s and UNDP projects worldwide.

In 2013 and 2014, I was the Communication & Visibility Expert on an EU-funded project reforming Serbian education. The role included communication strategies, media relations, promotional items, newsletters, website, and video. My official nickname for the project (“Razvionica”) is often fondly cited to this day.
A number of smaller, local projects saw me mostly act as a trainer or a facilitator, and as a content developer. Several of them included cross-border cooperation with colleagues from various countries in the West Balkans and Danube regions.

Since March 2019, I have been one of two Communication & Media Consultants on the State Matura Project in Serbia. In charge of Digital Media, I devised and created its website content and launched Social Media pages, while I’ve also tackled written interactions for the Help Desk.
